LDS provides a complete line of electrodynamic shakers from 2 lbf to 65,000 lbf LDS also offers combo systems and slip tables for three axis testing. The LDS line of digital and switching amplifiers offer energy efficient and robust operation for power requirements up to 280KVA.

Permanent Magnet Shakers (6 to 110 lbf)

LDS's permanent magnet electrodynamic shakers are designed for vibration test applications including modal and structural analysis, separation and compacting of powders, and small component vibration screening. They are also ideal for use in accelerometer calibration. These electrodynamic shakers are typically part of the vibration test equipment used in educational, research and laboratory environments.

V500 - V700 Electrodynamic Shakers - Rated for force levels from 0.7 to 6.67 kN (150 - 1500 lbf)

More powerful than our permanent magnet electrodynamic shakers, these air-cooled electrodynamic shakers are ideal for vibration testing of small automotive components and electronic assemblies. Up to 51mm (2 inches) continuous displacement is available with these vibration test systems. Utilizing LDS's unique suspension system with rolling-strut and flexure to ensure excellent cross axis restraint, these proven vibration tables also provide cost-effective product qualification and instrument calibration.

V9 Electrodynamic Shaker - New Design to Test Heavy Loads at High Levels over Long Periods

The LDS V9 electrodynamic shaker is designed to test heavy loads at high levels over long continuous periods. It uses a revolutionary design two magnetic gaps driven by one field coil to provide displacement up to 75 mm (3 in) with a peak velocity of 3 m/s (118 in/s).

Vibration Tables and Fixtures

LDS offers an array of vibration tables to meet your needs whether it is strenuous vibration testing or a production line application. In addition, we offer a wide range of standard and customized head expanders, fixtures and load support platforms to assure that our products will meet your applications.

Low Pressure Tables (LPT series) are a cost effective solution for a vibration table to use in most production line and research applications. These slip tables use guidance bearings to minimize axial distortion and an oil film for load support on the vibration table.

Hydrostatic Bearing Tables (HBT series) provide the ideal solution for strenuous vibration test requirements. The linear hydrostatic bearings in the HBT series slip tables allows heavier load carrying capability on the vibration table.
